innOvatIoN cHallenGe 2026 tRaiLer

The 2026 Innovation Challenge focuses on Health and Social Care, exploring how digital transformation, collaboration, and new technologies can strengthen services, improve user outcomes, and support a healthier, more connected Island.   

By tackling key priorities across Working Smarter, Wellness, and Home First, the Innovation Challenge provides businesses with a platform to scale globally, create meaningful impact, and contribute to the Island’s reputation as a UNESCO Biosphere and a hub for innovation. 

diGiTal iSle 2025 tRailEr

Digital Isle, now in its fifth year, provided a crucial platform for the Isle of Man’s tech ecosystem to convene. The event gathered local businesses to engage in the digital sector for a day of learning, knowledge sharing, and networking.

The event featured a diverse lineup of keynote speakers, presentations, and expert panel discussions focused on the latest trends and challenges within the digital space.

InnOvatIon cHallenGe 2025 FinAle HiGhligHts

The 2025 Challenge received almost 100 applications from more than 20 countries. After a rigorous shortlisting process, 15 finalists were selected across three categories—FinTech, Cleantech, and Data & AI—to participate in a four-month contextualisation programme.

Finalists benefited from expert-led webinars, bespoke mentoring, regulatory insight, and support from government departments and local industry experts. The Challenge culminated in a live Finale Day on 26 June 2025, where the finalists pitched their solutions to an engaged audience of industry leaders, investors, and public- and private-sector stakeholders.

stEmFeSt 2023

In a remarkable educational initiative, close to 800 year five and six students hailing from primary schools across the Isle of Man gathered at the Villa Marina in October 2023 for the much-anticipated STEMfest 2023. iSle oF Man BitCoIn tAkeOver 2023

Self-professed Bitcoin enthusiast, Mark Chapman, held his first Bitcoin Takeover event on the Isle of Man from 11th - 13th August. As well as being able to attend a series of talks from industry experts, attendees also had the option to pay for their accommodation, food, and activities using bitcoin, with over 30 local businesses accepting the cryptocurrency. fIntEcH innoVatIoN cHalleNgE fInAle 2023

The inaugural FinTech Innovation Challenge Finale saw 14 finalists present cutting-edge solutions to their industry peers and a panel of judges from across the Island’s top financial and digital technology businesses.

The Challenge attracted a diverse international cohort of participants, with over 80 applications received from 20 countries. stEmFeSt 2022

September 2022 saw the Villa Marina welcome nearly 800 year five and six students from across the Island’s primary schools to find out more about exciting world of careers in science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM).

The venue was divided into three zones: Engineering, Science and Tech, with 19 companies setting up interactive displays allowing students to learn the application of STEM in different industries and how what they learn in school applies to real life situations. UnitEd sPaCe scHoOl stEmFeSt 2022

Digital Isle of Man collaborated with River Advisers to produce this inspiring video that premiered at STEMFest 2022. It features three students from the Isle of Man who visited NASA in Houston to take part in the United Space School for two weeks in early 2022.

Each year (virtually during the pandemic) up to 50 students from 25 different nations come together to design their own Mission to Mars under the mentorship of engineers, scientists, and leaders in the aerospace industry. Click watch now to learn more.
