DEMENTIALOG: THE WORLD'S FIRST AI SUPPORTED DEMENTIA MOBILE APP FOR DEMENTIA CARERS
19 August 2025

A new Isle of Man based startup, Digitech Applications Limited, has announced the launch of an iOS mobile application, DementiaLog.
DementiaLog is a care companion app that provides intuitive tools to record, monitor, and understand daily changes in mood, behaviour, and physical wellbeing. By logging activities and routines, carers can capture the subtle patterns that often hold the key to better care and quality of life.
Underpinning these useful tools, DementiaLog features the world’s first mobile AI Assistant trained specifically for dementia. Company founder, Claire Watson said, “One in three people in the UK are estimated to develop dementia in their lifetime and caring for them is hard. Our goal for DementiaLog is to try and make the caregiving journey just that little bit easier.”
Claire continued, “Everyone’s experience is different and it can take a huge amount of effort to find useful information and apply that to each unique situation. This is where we hope DementiaLog can support people. The idea is firstly to try and collect data to spot trends. DementiaLog makes it really easy to create logs, track symptoms and maintain a care diary. This information can be invaluable for Dementia Advisors and care support professionals to provide personalised care plans. Especially with the insights that the app provides, to make spotting trends quite easy.”
“The second big idea is to use the power of AI to put a Dementia Advisor in your pocket. AI is such an important part of modern technology but for many people involved with care, it isn’t that accessible. DementiaLog provides unlimited access to a specifically trained AI assistant and use is as easy as sending a text message. You can use the assistant to help create plans, to make research really easy or simply just to discuss your feelings, concerns or thoughts without judgement.”
DementiaLog is available to download now from the iOS App Store. Find out more about DementiaLog here
