INNOVATION CHALLENGE FINALISTS JOGGLE USES AI TO ELEVATE SMALL BUSINESS MARKETING TACTICS

16 June 2025

With a growing focus on digital innovation, the Isle of Man is creating new opportunities for tech-led solutions to thrive. One important way it’s doing this is through the Isle of Man Innovation Challenge. This global competition invites businesses from around the world to bring forward ideas that solve real-world problems in areas like FinTech, Cleantech, Data & AI, and Biosphere innovation.

Among the finalists this year in the Data & AI category is Joggle. Joggle is an AI-driven platform designed to help small businesses tackle one of their biggest challenges: managing digital marketing with limited time, skills, and resources. Their goal is to make marketing easier and more effective for small business owners everywhere.

Solving small business marketing challenges with AI

18 months ago, the team behind Joggle noticed a common problem: many small business owners were struggling to keep up with marketing demands. They often lacked the time to create content, plan campaigns, or manage social media. Hiring outside help was usually too expensive or complicated.

Drawing on their experience in technology, artificial intelligence, and digital marketing, the Joggle team decided to build a solution specifically for these businesses. They created a suite of AI-powered “agents” that automate many marketing tasks. The aim was to make smart marketing support simple, affordable, and accessible to all.

Personalised marketing support made easy

The Joggle platform uses data and AI to understand a business’s specific marketing needs. It analyses customer engagement trends and helps plan marketing activities tailored to each user. For example, Joggle can generate content ideas, schedule posts, and even suggest ways to improve audience reach.

What makes Joggle different is its focus on usability. The platform is designed for people who are not marketing experts or tech-savvy. The user interface is straightforward, and the AI tools work behind the scenes to reduce the workload, not add to it.

Simon Grice, Joggle’s CEO, explains: “We wanted to create something that’s powerful but easy to use. We didn’t want small business owners to feel overwhelmed by complicated tech. Our goal is to make digital marketing achievable for anyone.”

Achievements and Milestones

Since launching, Joggle has already reached several important milestones:

  • Supporting over 1,000 users who rely on the platform daily.
  • Successfully completing the Turing Innovation Catalyst programme in Manchester, a prestigious tech accelerator.
  • Opening a new office on the Isle of Man, reinforcing the company’s commitment to the Island’s tech ecosystem.
  • Partnering with two commercial clients to co-develop new AI agents focused on the e-learning and legal sectors, expanding their technology into new markets.

Looking ahead at what’s next for Joggle

Joggle is focused on growth and innovation. They are currently developing two new AI agents that will further expand the platform’s capabilities. These include tools to support training and legal services, tailored to the needs of their commercial partners.

In addition, Joggle plans to introduce more powerful analytics features. These will help businesses better understand how their marketing is performing and identify new opportunities for growth.

The company’s long-term vision is to make AI-powered marketing support accessible to small businesses not only across the Isle of Man and the UK but also globally.
